Detox Support
The word ‘Detox’ can strike fear into the heart of even the most dedicated health-focussed patient! The key thing as a Practitioner that I look at with patients; is how to do this safely, and work at a pace and intensity that is comfortable without side-effects.
The benefits of detox are wide and varied. From increased energy, better sleep, improved gut function and absorption of nutrients, to the ability to shift otherwise ‘stuck’ or chronic conditions, detoxing can be very powerful.
There are many different ways to approach detoxing. Of course the body is naturally detoxing all the time, every cell and organ in the body takes in nutrients to survive and continue functioning, and of course every cell and organ needs to put out wastes – metabolic waste products or internal toxins. We need our channels of elimination clear and functioning so that we can easily clear away the waste products.
